ELEVEN MICHAEL

The story “ELEVEN” is written by Sandra Cisneros. The story is about a girl who gets accused of having a nasty sweater in the classroom for months, and it’s not hers, but she does not speak up. I think that she is believable and unbelievable at the same time.
She is not credible because Rachel didn’t speak up when the teacher asked if it was her sweater. I think that because all she had to say was “no it is not mine” and she would have been fine. That is one of the reasons why she is not credible.
She is also not credible for the fact that she cried when she had to wear the sweater because it is just a sweater and people do not care what your wearing, specially if it is your birthday, because if it is your birthday, you can pretty much wear whatever you want. That is another reason why I think she is not credible.
I think she is credible because she got embarrassed because she cried in class and her day got ruined. I think that because if I cried in class I would have been embarrassed and my day probably would've been ruined.
